Honey & Mustard Baked Chicken Drumsticks

Total Servings

Ingredients:

  • 6 Tablespoon Honey

    • 2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce (light)

      • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce (dark)

        • 1 Tablespoon Mustard (paste)

          • 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil (or vegetable oil)

            • 1 Tablespoon Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

              • 8 Clove Garlic (crushed to paste)

                • 1/4 Teaspoon Cumin seed (optional)

                  • 12 Large Chicken Drum Sticks (use fresh)

                    • 1 Teaspoon Salt (to taste)

Directions:

Step 1
In a large bowl, add honey, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, mustard paste, lemon juice, crushed garlic, cumin seeds (optional), salt & chicken drum sticks and mix well together. Once the drum sticks are evenly coated with the marinate mixture set this a side for at least 50 minutes. For best results you can marinate this over night before use.
Step 2
Pre-heat the oven 200°C (or gas mark 6). At the mean time oil a medium sized baking tray with the olive oil & place the marinated drumstick in the tray (make sure to leave space between drum sticks).
Step 3
Then place the tray in the middle of the oven & bake it for 10 minutes, then turn drum sticks around and bake it for further 10 minutes. Once cooked enough serve hot with cucumber salad & chili, mayonnaise dips.
