Seafood Stir Fry With Vegetables

Total Servings

Ingredients:

300 Grams Jumbo Prawns (peeled and deveined)
200 Grams Cuttlefish Fillet (cut into strips)
50 Grams Broccoli (cut into small pieces)
2 Medium Carrots (cut into thin strips)
50 Grams Closed Cup Mushroom (cut into halves)
6 Clove Garlic (chopped)
1 Medium Red Onion (chopped)
1 1/2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce (light)
1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
1/2 Tablespoon Mushroom Sauce (optional)
1/2 Teaspoon Salt (or to taste)
2 Teaspoon Chili Flakes
1/2 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
2 Tablespoon Cornflour (Corn Starch)
2 Teaspoon Ginger (chopped)
6 Tablespoon Water (cold)
3 Tablespoon Oil (Vegetable)
1 Medium Spring Onion (chopped)

Directions:

Step 1
Put prawns & cuttlefish into a large mixing bowl then add Soy Sauce, Sugar, Salt and mix all well together. Set a side for 5 minutes to marinade.
Step 2
Heat up oil in a medium sized wok or sauce pan (medium to high heat) for 2 minutes then add marinated prawns & cuttlefish and stir fry for 4 minutes.
Step 3
Once the colour of the prawns start to change to orange/red add chopped ginger, garlic, onion, Chili Flakes to the wok & mix well together, let this cook for 1 minute.
Step 4
Then add Broccoli, Carrots, Closed Cup Mushroom & cook for further 3 minutes by stirring regularly.
Step 5
Mix cold water & Cornflour in a small cup or bowl until all Cornflour powder dissolves. Then add cornflour mixture to the wok & stir cook for about 1 minute.
Step 6
Add oyster sauce & Mushroom Sauce (optional) mix well together. Take the wok off the heat & leave wok aside to absorb oyster sauce & Mushroom Sauce in remaining heat for about 1 minute.
Step 7
Finally garnish with chopped spring onion & serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
